A selection of films presented and awarded at major world festivals such as Locarno, Karlovy Vary, Cannes, Toronto, Torino, etc. is announced in the competition. The jury consists of Maria Drăguş - currently actress in Germany, known for her roles in films such as The White Ribbon (dir. Michael Haneke) or Graduation (dir. Cristian Mungiu) -, Vlad Ivanov - 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days (dir. Cristian Mungiu), Snowpiercer (dir. Bong Joon-ho), One Step Behind the Seraphim (dir. Daniel Sandu), La Gomera (dir. Corneliu Porumboiu) -, and Mălina Manovici - Graduation (dir. Cristian Mungiu), Lemonade (dir. Ioana Uricaru).
