I Matter – Fighting Back
Actress, playwright and activist Alina Șerban makes her feature debut with an inspirational film about survival and self-determination in a harsh social environment. With its international premiere in Venice’s Spotlight section, the film marks an important step towards bringing greater visibility to lived realities that are all too often subjected to a voyeuristic, poverty-focused gaze.
